A navigation bar within a virtual tour is a series of buttons / menus which allow you to interact with it. It often contains buttons which will allow you to move the Virtual Images arounfd, and move between Virtual Images Etc. |

Hot Spots are visual links within a Virtual Tour which allow the user to interact with it, They can be links between Virtual Images, or they can load information or image pop ups, they can link to external websire or trigger special effects, music or voice overs etc. |

Part of a Virtual Tour experience often includes a map or floorplan allowing the user to see visually where they are. We can include in these maps, hotspots and 'radar' hotspots which can indicate which room the Virtual Image is showing and in which direction the image is facing at the same time it is shown on screen. |

Firstly we'll start with what isn't a virtual tour. Many companies will try and market virtual tours, but often they are misleading their clients. Often Photo or video slideshows or 'Panoramic' tours are sold as Virtual Tours. This is Incorrect, so before you you commission your Virtual Tour, make sure you are getting what you are paying for!
A Virtual Tour uses fully immersive 360° virtual imaging. A Virtual Image allows you to look all the way round and all the way up and down FULLY, where as a panorama is an image 'up to' 360° around the middle, but with a limited view vertically, losing up to 50% of the possible view! We are currently the ONLY company in the area able to offer FULLY immersive virtual images.

You will often find design agencies advertising panoramic tours as 'Virtual Tours' But at NY Creative Media we pride ourselves on offering you the full experience using the latest in virtual imaging technology and using the latest software available. The inferior panoramic tours often use low quality 1 shot lenses which produce images which are only viewable in a small window on screen. The Virtual Images we produce are up to a massive 2 gigapixels, and are viewable full screen on the highest resolution, high definition, modern monitors available today. |
